Anchored in Steadfast Love
Take 2-3 minutes to quiet yourself and ask God to speak to you today through your devotional time.
Reading: Psalm 107:1–9
Be sure to highlight or note anything that stands out to you while you read.
After reading the passage, take the next 5-10 minutes and spend time reflecting on what you read. You can write these things down in a journal or record them in your phone. Be attentive to both what you highlighted in the passage and what is going on in your life.
Before Scripture ever addresses correction, discipline, or obedience, it begins with love. Psalm 107 opens by grounding us in the unchanging truth that God is good and His steadfast love endures forever. This love is not fragile—it holds firm when we wander, when we are hungry and thirsty for answers, and when our souls feel faint. God’s love is not proven by ease but by rescue. Even when we lose our way, He remains committed to leading us back. Gratitude grows when we recognize that every act of deliverance flows from His enduring love.
Where do I need to remember and trust that God’s love has not changed, even in my wandering?
Now, take 10 minutes to seek God in prayer…

Now, take 10 minutes to seek God in prayer…
- Begin your time in prayer by taking 1-3 minutes to sit in silence (You can take longer if you sense the Spirit already beginning to speak to you).
- Pray through the things you sensed God speaking to you through the Scriptures or pray the following prayer: Thank God for His steadfast love that has followed you through every season. Ask Him to help you recognize His goodness even when the path feels unclear.
- Close by taking 5 minutes to sit in silence, asking God if there is anything else He wants to speak to you today.
Take Action:
- Write down three ways God has been faithful to you in past difficult seasons.
- Spend time today thanking God—not for outcomes, but for His enduring love.
