Everything Belongs to God
Take 2-3 minutes to quiet yourself and ask God to speak to you today through your devotional time.
Reading: Psalm 24:1–6

After reading the passage, take the next 5-10 minutes and spend time reflecting on what you read. You can write these things down in a journal or record them in your phone. Be attentive to both what you highlighted in the passage and what is going on in your life.
“The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof.” This truth changes everything. If God owns it all, then we are not owners—we are stewards. Your time, money, gifts, relationships, and opportunities are all entrusted to you by God. Stewardship is not a burden; it is a partnership with the Creator. God invites you to manage His blessings in a way that honors Him and blesses others.

- Begin your time in prayer by taking 1-3 minutes to sit in silence (You can take longer if you sense the Spirit already beginning to speak to you).
- Pray through the things you sensed God speaking to you through the Scriptures or pray the following prayer: Lord, help me remember that everything I have comes from You. Teach me to live as a faithful steward, not a selfish owner.
- Close by taking 5 minutes to sit in silence, asking God if there is anything else He wants to speak to you today.
Take Action:
- Write down three things you often treat as “yours” and surrender them to God in prayer.
- Thank God today for specific blessings and acknowledge Him as their source.

Thank you for helping me to remember how to spend time with God along with helping me to face my issues straight on. I forgot how difficult it is to make the time to sit still with God for even a little time. It’s easy to get into the habit of quickly dropping off a prayer to God.
